Wut?

I'll have you know, O User-of-Presumptuous-Names (referring to the guy below me, in case you couldn't tell) that the rhythm is dang great! At least great for an ambient song. And Djs are supposed to know all about rhythm... >:(

Anyway. :P

Great song here! I like the poem a lot, too. Shame about your ice cream... :( But I didn't cringe at the Slayer, so apparently there are good ways to use it. :) Lovely song, I will download it and play it for my sister all day >:)

Whee thanks :D

The poem took about 30 seconds to come up with lol. :3

Yes.

I'm extremely tired at the moment, but I stayed awake through this all. It wasn't something I even had to try to do, it was just something that I couldn't leave.

There's a lot of emotion in this song, I know. Sort of like the feeling of falling down after taking so much and finally breaking. There's still the glimmer of hope when a friend shows up to lift your spirits, and everything seems all right. I love songs that give me that feeling, because there aren't many of them that do it well. Thanks, sir :)

No constructive criticism from me, this is perfect in my ears. Good job!

-Lamp

woot!

Sort of reminds me of progressive house music, only faster. I likes it!

I can't pick out which synth was made from scratch, and I'm counting that as a good thing! You can make things from scratch at least as good as edited/preset synths. What did you make it with? Sytrus? (If you say 3xOsc, I'm going to give up entirely on that little bugger!)

Percussion is a little unique, especially the hi-hat/cymbal that started off early on. It's still great, though. I don't even know why I bother telling you that anymore. :P

Keep up the good work!
-Lamp the Stamp

ReFreezed responds:

Woooot! :)

Yeah, I used Sytrus for it. I don't think I can make synths as advanced as the presets is yet, but thanks anyway.

I added quite a lot of effects to that hi-hat sound to get that unique touch. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks for another awesome review, Lamp the... Stamp?

Fun!

I like the intro, it builds up nicely! It seems to be like a little kid dancing, that turns into a fluffy demon thing every four measures. The percussion is bouncy and fun, and I like the rolls that show up around :40 and other places.

Um... yeah. It's sort of a creepy song, reminds me of clowns for some reason. I still like it, though! Good job,

-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Clowns are totally creepy! lol

*has no idea what more to say*

Thanks for the review! :D

Wow...

I feel speechless right now... this is something special. I feel like hijacking every radio station in the world, just to play this for everyone. It's one of those songs that anyone can appreciate. It lifts my feelings even higher, inspires me. I really think this is something great. I know it's not about money, but I just have to say that I'm sure this would be pretty popular once it got out there.

Amazing voices, guys, and excellent work on the orchestral support. This my favorite vocal track on Newgrounds, no contest whatsoever. Thank you both for sharing your talent!

-Lamp

Cayler responds:

Wow, I'm honored that you choose this as your fav vocal track. And it would be awesome if this song got played on the radio too. lol

Tres cool!

That's some awesome strings! You'll have to tell me where you found those, because both my friend and I could use something better than what the presents in Reason offer.

It sort of loops in a ominous strings, dramatic pause, tap tap, ominous strings again sort of way... I like it!

Awesome job, I really like it! I'd like to see more orchestral stuffs from you!

Miroslav refill. Pm me if you want to know more about them...

I'm thinking about doing more. Cause it's really quite fun to make...

Anyways, Thanks for the review :D

Hah.

NO!

I am not happy! You... wait. Nevermind.

Yeah, this is a lot better. Kick=more substance, and the bass is just to my liking. Can't speak for any of you bassheads, but I likey. Nice fix, dude!

Bleah. Lub said most everything I have to say. Darn you!

I like the song, though, and all the percussion (except for the kick :( ) was awesome! Keep it upways!

-Ye Olde Lampe

ReFreezed responds:

Am I the only one that likes the kick!?! D:

Ok, I'll upload another version tomorrow. New kick, better bass, and maybe some kind of distortion.

Thanks for the liking. :)

Love it!

It's very haunted and dangerous-sounding! I don't remember hearing the original, but hey, I never do. :P The sidechaining is really quite awesome! I like the synths a lot as well, they all have that ReFreezed sound. The kick fits really well, and the rest of the chaotic percussion is sweet, too!

Great job, dude! Keep it up!

-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

One of the main synths actually sounds really freaking horrible (in my opinion) if it's played alone, but with some side chaining and in this context it works quite well. WOOT for "that ReFreezed sound"! :D

Thanks for the review, Lamp! *keeps it up*

Love it!

The intro felt a tad bit dry reverb-wise, but as soon as the bass kicked in, everything got much better. I love the bass synth, by the way. Actually, I have to say all the synths are pretty great.

The piano sounded kind of weird, did you layer a different sound with it, or was it just the piano playing lower and higher notes at the same time? Either way, I like it.

For some reason, this seemed like it finished way too fast. :( Maybe it's that song I should listen to to pass the time? Hm... well, great job! Download, 10, and 5 for you, good sir!

-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Yay! I didn't wanna use too much reverb as I wanted a more clear sound.

I added a lot of effects to the piano to make it sound better. It's the same piano SoundFont that I've used before though. Good that you like it.

Well, it didn't take especially long time to complete the song. Maybe it got a bit rushed. Anyway, thanks for the review! :)
