Swell!

I'm going to give you a ten for this :D Everything about this track, I love. The drums sound something halfway between a marching snare and a skipping record, which is an awesome combination. The (I guess) sine waves in the beginning sounded kind of spacey, but around :30 when they stopped temporarily I had no idea what the sound reminded me of.

That's something I like about this song. It doesn't sound familiar, so it can't make me picture anything realistic. I could use more music like this when I write, I can assure you some weird things would result :P

Anyway... love this song! I think I can say it's my personal favorite of yours! Massive <3 to you! I hope to see more of this sort of experimenting!

Yay, ten!

I noticed the triangle and the sine sounds kinda similar here. The sine got a bit more bass and resonance in it.

Uniqueness, and weirdness, ftw. This song just came out naturally for me. I have no idea what exactly I was thinking when I made it. Hehe...

I'll surely do more experiments in the future, though I just do what pops into my head. It could be anything, even another song of this kind. Anyway, I'm really glad you like this track that much. :D

I caught this one while it was still up on the recently submitted list, now you can be sure that the first vote this little guy got was a nice healthy... ZERO! A BIG FAT FLUNKY ZERO! >:(

Just kidding, I'd never be so mean :3 I love this song! It sounds all cheery and cute, the pitch bend bass made me feel like I was being rocked to sleep or something like that. The only thing I didn't like about this song was that it didn't have a more creative title. Sad face :(

Anyway. I love you ReFreezed :D

ReFreezed responds:

I couldn't think of a better title, sorry. Though I was going to write the title like "51N3 \/\//\\/35" but it would have looked too geeky or something...

But anyway, thanks a LOT for the five and the ten! It wasn't what I expected. :D

short reviews aren't long

Sounds pretty nice! Not as catchy as Square One, but still very nice :D I really like the tempo change later on, that was a nice touch. Good job old chap, what's next in line?

Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Next up would be the sine, which probably is the toughest one.

Thanks for the short review! :3

mmh?

Top-quality stuff! Very epic yet still has a sort of quaint town next to the city. A fresh new day to make your own, there's something out there to be explored!

Sweet stuff :D

Why thank you good sir :D

Everyday is a new experience with hopefully better ones then the past.

Woo!

Awesome remix! Percussion is super cool, and the synths are both ReFreezy and video-gamey :) Sounds very chaotic, like building up to some uber-epic ninja showdown. I like the little buildup thing just before 1:25, that sounded really nice. Cool stuff!

-Lamp (I'll have something up in a while that I can force you to review later >:)

ReFreezed responds:

Yay! I really glad you like it. So it sounds ReFreezy, huh? I wish I knew how that actually sounds lol. Ninjas are just too cool. At least cooler than pirates. :P I got the idea of that buildup thing from Spor's remix of "Stompbox" by The Qemists. One awesome song btw.

Thanks a lot for the review! I'll be warming up my fingers for the review you're getting. ;)

Wow :D

You are getting one of the tenniest tens I've ever given! Seriously, this is really good stuff. Even better than your first version. The storm effects really give it a nice intro, and although the transition between where the sample ends and it has to be looped is a little jarring, I have no other complaints about that.

Choir was a pretty nice sound in the beginning, added some nice extra depth :) More cozy! The flute was subtle (at least to my ears) but was a neat addition. I like everything about this remix! It'd be sweet if someone animated this, wouldn't it!

Well... yeah. Cheers! Buy yourself a drink for me :D

Lublub194 responds:

Yay! :D

Best 10 ever from you :D

I agree about the samples... but I don't have much to work with. So :'l

Anyways. I'm really glad you liked it :D

Gosh...

Some people either need to open their ears or shut their mouths, because this sir is expert stuff! Sadly NG isn't the best place to put music that requires some level of intelligence and appreciation above that of your average middle schooler. Here's one fourteen-year-old that likes what you're doing :D Keep it up.

-Lamp

InvisibleObserver responds:

Thank you he who is proclaims to be "one fourteen-year-old that likes what I'm doing".

Its appreciated, though I more then understand how things go (or don't go) here on NG.

Gah!

You know what this means? I'm behind! You finished your second tune before I even finished my clone of the first! Much glaring >:(

But much love too <3 :D This song is rockin'! It sounds a bit odd, but hey, odd is expermental's middle name. I love the panning and sliding around... makes the song sound very slippery and fun. Sort of like a cube of frozen soda or something :P andyway, this was a cool song to listen to. And you know what's next... sine waves! Yaaaay!

-Lamperfluouflous

ReFreezed responds:

Haha! Slowpoke! :P

jk

A frozen soda Cubee, eh? Hmm... Glad you like it. I'd say the next would be saw waves, just to leave the toughest one to last. At least I think sine waves would be the toughest one... We'll see... Yaaay!

Thanks for the rererererevieeeeeewwww!

I did enjoy listening to it!

This is... dreamy. And groovy at the same time. Up until 2:00 minutes, it's a really sweet pad and stuff, and I would have been fine if that were the entire song. The second have onward was like buying a little bag of candy and the nice candy salesman giving you a complimentary wagon full of more :D I like it that much! Whee, it makes me feel happy :D And the little clip at the end was cool too!

Yay, sir, yay!

-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

What's up with everybody saying "sir" all the time? :P Anyway, I'm glad you like it that much. About the pad... my computer could barely handle playing it in some places in FL, so I didn't really know how everything sounded until I rendered the song. Annoying? Yes. :)

Thank you for reviewing, sir!

Sweet!

I'm really digging this, especially the part around 1:10 or so where it quiets down for a short bit and then picks up again. That really shows off the synth quality :D The drums are also really nice, I like the frequency range from the kick to the floaty little hat taps. Good tune, I can't really offer any constructive criticism :/

-Lamp

SineRider responds:

I like that part too. I need to make it transition a little bit better. This is one of the better tracks I've made in Reason in a month or so. Thanks for the review, and don't worry about feedback :)
