WHATERYADOON.

I have no idea what this song means, or if it means anything, but the quieter parts sound lovely. And then on occasion things go mental and then I'm left with nothing on my mind.

Really good song to relax and pick dried watercolors from beneath your fingernails to. That's a good thing, by the way :)

Betcha thought I'd leave a response?

Edit:

I'm glad you liked it, and to hear the story look a review above yours.

- Love lubz.

What do we have heeyah?

Yummy :) The piano and pizzi strings are especially tasty today. I'm going to have to say my favorite part was around 3:50 or so, it pictured me (wut?) of a filmscore that plays in the background of some modernized version of a 40's romance movie set in New York. For some bizarre reason.

My ONLY problem with this song, my one little itch, the little fruit fly landing on my piano pudding is right at 4:48, when the piano part changes, there's a little pop from the volume being cut so suddenly (I guess) and that jolts me a bit. So... that may be something to fix.

Otherwise.

Awesome choon. Who's got the beat? You've got the beat :D

-Lalalala

Lublub194 responds:

Ah, yes, I reconize that lil flaw :/ I suppose I should really go and edit that out... But laziness is upon me. I'll make sure to have it changed by the album.

I'm glad you liked it... and thought of a modernized 40's? Lol. I don't know exactly what that's about.

I'm glad I got teh beatz. Yo. thanks :D

Cupateeeee.

How sweet :3 Really, no sarcasm there. It's a very calming but uplifting song. Reminds me a lot of Bosa. It's got some pop elements mixed in with classical... very nice. I hope you're not like me and that the one this is written for will know it :)

Lublub194 responds:

She does :)

We gotta get you working on that aspect :P Haha, no seriously, take your time man. Life's still ahead of you.

I'm glad you like it :D I really enjoyed making it.

Thanks for the review man :D

Splunkerpuff.

The two songs are completely different, and I don't think of ReFreezed's original when I listen to this, but I can definitely see the common elements when I try to. And that's not a bad thing, I really like the classical instrumentation. The only bee in my bonnet from this song was the trumpet forte-pianos... they sounded choppy. Especially the 2:30 part where they were playing the eighth notes. Just sorta poked my ear and made it stand out a bit too much.

Otherwise a very nice remix :D

-J'adore la musique classicale (I'm only guessing that's correct French)

Lublub194 responds:

Haha. I like your french, I don't actually know much myself. I stick with spanish.

I'm glad you can see elements that are the same, and some aren't. I did a lot of editing from the original. No instrument is the exact same. Cept the bass, there wasn't... actually. No. Lol. I edited it too :P

The trumpet was something new I was working with, I like the notes how they sorta play and fade out, but I want it to be more consistent. I suppose you being one who plays trombone can say that it doesn't sound natural. So I'll check into making it sound better hmm?

Me encanta el review. Gracias. (I love the review, thanks)

Shoot.

This is what happens when my internet goes down. Sprite Harvester, Lublub... even AloysiusRexford (I love that guy, his stuff rocks my socks) beat me to reviewing :(

Good song though :3 Very nice drums. Sorta repetitive, but there's nothing at all wrong with that :D Repetitivity shmepetitivity, as Anti-Citizen says. The filters were lovely! Very nice song to log on and find. You can remake it if you like, but I love it just that way it is!

Awesome stuff!

-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Yep, seems like you're last. But better late than never. :)

I've decided to kill the repetitiveness and lack of climaxes with my Weapons of Mass Drum-and-bass-uction! I will keep this version here though. Anyway, I'm glad you like it.

Thankelidoodeli for the review!

Hmm

Sounds very... hymn-y. Which I guess it is. So props to me for figuring that out. The strings at the beginning sound only slightly choppier than I like, but that gives it a bit of rhythm which I like :) The flute is nice, sounds pretty realistic. The song overall is very comforting, like the songs a family would sing together around the fireplace on Christmas Eve.

It brought a smile to my face :) And then I looked over at my book report and it vanished. But thanks for making my day this much better.

Swell!

I'm going to give you a ten for this :D Everything about this track, I love. The drums sound something halfway between a marching snare and a skipping record, which is an awesome combination. The (I guess) sine waves in the beginning sounded kind of spacey, but around :30 when they stopped temporarily I had no idea what the sound reminded me of.

That's something I like about this song. It doesn't sound familiar, so it can't make me picture anything realistic. I could use more music like this when I write, I can assure you some weird things would result :P

Anyway... love this song! I think I can say it's my personal favorite of yours! Massive <3 to you! I hope to see more of this sort of experimenting!

- Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Yay, ten!

I noticed the triangle and the sine sounds kinda similar here. The sine got a bit more bass and resonance in it.

Uniqueness, and weirdness, ftw. This song just came out naturally for me. I have no idea what exactly I was thinking when I made it. Hehe...

I'll surely do more experiments in the future, though I just do what pops into my head. It could be anything, even another song of this kind. Anyway, I'm really glad you like this track that much. :D

giggle <3

I caught this one while it was still up on the recently submitted list, now you can be sure that the first vote this little guy got was a nice healthy... ZERO! A BIG FAT FLUNKY ZERO! >:(

Just kidding, I'd never be so mean :3 I love this song! It sounds all cheery and cute, the pitch bend bass made me feel like I was being rocked to sleep or something like that. The only thing I didn't like about this song was that it didn't have a more creative title. Sad face :(

Anyway. I love you ReFreezed :D
-Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

I couldn't think of a better title, sorry. Though I was going to write the title like "51N3 \/\//\\/35" but it would have looked too geeky or something...

But anyway, thanks a LOT for the five and the ten! It wasn't what I expected. :D

short reviews aren't long

Sounds pretty nice! Not as catchy as Square One, but still very nice :D I really like the tempo change later on, that was a nice touch. Good job old chap, what's next in line?

Lamp

ReFreezed responds:

Next up would be the sine, which probably is the toughest one.

Thanks for the short review! :3
