it says my summary is too short so now it's long.

The only tower of Babel I know is in Final Fantasy... I should play DOOM someday :P Anyway, really nice remix! I especially liked the part around 1:15 where it started to sound bitcrushed and stuff... that was cool. The percussion was rad, too :3

Um. Yeah. Awesome remix! I bestow upon you this beast toe (ha ha)

ReFreezed responds:

Oh yes, you should play DOOM. It's a true classic!

The bitcrushing really was a random choice. I thought the song was missing something in the middle so I just randomly added effects to the sound until I found something good. Randomness is great! :P

Thankzorz 4 teh review!

Wow...

This is awesome! Probably the most creative thing I've heard all week! Really, this is a swell tune for only two shapes! If you don't mind, I'm going to steal your idea and attempt this with a sine wave and some Subtractor noise... I'll credit you for the idea though :)

-Fuzzy Lumpkins

ReFreezed responds:

Why thanks! :D

Sure, steal away. I think making a tune using only a sine wave would be harder than with any other shape, for some reason. So good luck!

Fuzzy lol

Hey there!

I thought I'd pay you back a review, it's only the nice thing to do :)

I personally think this is pretty good. Now that I've said that, if I may, I'm going to give some critique. First off, I really like the lead (melody) synth, it definitely fits the song. So the synths are pretty good :)

Percussion... the kick's good, but the clap leaves something to be desired :( It seems kinda quiet and shy compared to everything else in the song. I think something with more pop and less laid-back feel to it would work better. Just search through some clap samples for something with more energy :)

There was a glitchy thing aroun 1:50 that I liked, but it just seemed kind of abrupt and random to me. Maybe having a short kick roll in front of it would help it from being so out-of place?

Anyway, I really like this! I don't know how long you've been making music, but keep it up. This is good stuff!

gahwhydidyourshavetobesoawesome?!

....

>:(

Seriously though, this is amazing. The pad is fabulous, and the drums are exceptional. I like the rhythm changes, especially when it when to a three-step thing around 1:19, even though it didn't last long. Great song, I say you win :)

ReFreezed responds:

Oooo thanks :D

Let's just see what Lublub says :D

:D

Rawr.

I actually like this... never heard the original, but whatever the melody was in it, I'm sure this is perfectly fine. Some people just don't understand the concept of a remix :P I really like how it started off, and then the roll into a complete drum groove was pretty awesome. It wasn't boring at'all, actually, it was quite energetic!

Very nice, economically stimulating, energy-efficient and peace-making job you've done here :)

ReFreezed responds:

Awesomeness! Glad you like it :D

There are things you can say, and things you can only through music. I really enjoy this song, because it's a very unique way of being uplifting and saying something important instead of your average pop tune. I've been listening to you since I head "Samuel's Glass Delusion," (top-notch stuff, by the way) so I've come to expect that unique style (even for IDM) from you, but this is still different from your norm. I like it :)

I'm sure your girlfriend will enjoy it as much as we do :) Keep up the good work!

-Lamp

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Yeah, I understand that. Some of us are better with different mediums. The ways our minds work differently. I'm glad to read you like it, as well as the others. Its also good to hear this is something a bit different from the norm. Its similar to my previous work - different emotions filtering though the production.

I'll be showering her soon. I have some things I still want to change - after listening to the (mostly complete) version.

keep those ears open.

Ooh ya.

Beginning was awesome, and it stayed that way :) I like the percussion here, even though the clap seems to be on 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4 for the first part. I like that, though. Variation is cool.

Cow sounds are awesome, but if I didn't know this was about a kid from a dairy farm, I'd wonder what you were on when you made this :P I love the cow singing with the choir, and the cowbell only makes it even better.

Definitely one of of yours best ones in the series, I really like this one :)

-Lamp

PizzaBox responds:

Wait. Is it a rule that it's supposed to be 2 and 4? Why was I not informed?

Wow...

Seriously, this is awesome! The snare is almost perfectly like the original... great job there. And on everything else. Seriously, I could see this being in the game :) Very good work!

-Lamp

Project-Half-Life responds:

Thanks! :)

Well then.

I originally wasn't going to listen to this in hopes that you'd be releasing an album with it, since I like most songs to be new when I listen to an album, but I gave up. I'm glad I did, though.

The song didn't have much in the way of a melody, but the ambience and percussion was simply awesome. What synth are you using for these pads? (assuming you're still using Reason for that) I'm interested to know... :)

Anyway, great job. I hope the inspiration comes for another full album, because I could listen to your stuff all day. :)

-Lamp

VegetarianMeat responds:

I've got quite a few Reason refills. My project files are horribly organized. I rarely name a song before it's done, so the files usually end up having completely random names. Luckily I didn't make this too long ago, so I do remember using a combination of samples and synths to create the ambient soundscapes you're hearing.

As for a new album, yeah I have something planned. So far all of my albums have a specific theme\meaning or story to them. Obviously because my songs don't have lyrics they can be interpreted in many different ways, so the theme is left to be ambiguous. With this new one I'm thinking of using samples as my inspiration for the songs, as is the case with this one and my newest song which I made with the help of a friend. I'm going to try and record my own samples as well and hopefully get some help from some other musicians that I know.

To be honest I haven't really found the, 'meaning,' of the album yet, but I'm guessing after I bit more experimentation it'll hit me.

By the way, thanks for enjoying my music :D

...Sigh.

I normally get tired of all 10's, because most of the time the song's overrated anyway, but I find myself voting ten anyway :) I doubt you really need another review telling you how awesome this is, but hey, it's nice anyway. Excellent playing, mixing, and such, but what I really like here is the drums. I can tell you put a lot of work into those; they're dynamic, strong, and realistic. Good job :)

Keep up the good work, dude!

-Lamp

deathkllr84 responds:

thanks a lot man! I never get tired of hearing from listeners. Yeah, I love to make the drums sound amazing. keep it metal \m/
